by enrf enrf April 17, 2023

In 2023, Open Research Europe celebrates 2 years!

The Open Research Europe is the innovative publishing platform dedicated to providing Horizon 2020, Horizon Europe, COST Action, and Euratom researchers with a fully open access, free, and collaborative publishing venue.

This platform aims to:

  • Enables researchers to publish any research they wish to share;
  • Uses an open research publishing model;
  • Includes citations to all supporting data and materials.

Since its launch in 2021, more than 1800 authors from 340 different institutions have published their work on the Open Research Europe.

As Mariya Gabriel, European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth, stated: “Open Research Europe is a great step forward for EU R&I programme beneficiaries and research communities from all scientific, social science and humanities fields. The new publishing platform will enable them to fully embrace Open Science meeting their publishing needs and openly share, use and find linked publications and data”.

The Open Research Europe platform represents a great opportunity for researchers, research and for the society. It gives to research a rapid open access publication, making it accessible and available for consultation both to other researchers and to citizens. This platform accelerates the progress of research meaning new insights, innovations and treatments become available to those who need them more rapidly.

The Open Research Europe could be a good opportunity for boosting nursing research, don’t miss it!
