Horizon Europe Work Programme 2023-2024 is out!

With a budget of € 13.5 billion, the European Commission has launched the main Horizon Europe Work Programme 2023-2024 to boost research and innovation in Europe for finding solutions for environmental, energy, digital and geopolitical challenges.

According to Horizon Europe, the total budget provides for researchers and innovators in EU is € 95.5 billion for reaching ambitious goals such as energy resilience and digital technologies. Moreover, the programme provides to targeted actions to support Ukraine, boost economic resilience and contribute to a sustainable recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.

As stated by Mariya Gabriel, Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth: “The Horizon Europe 2023-24 work programme adopted today will support the research and innovation communities to address the crucial challenges of our times. The programme is another stepping-stone to help us be at the forefront of innovation for a better future.”

Horizone Europe will help to achieve a stronger European research and innovation ecosystem, including through wider participation of researchers and innovators across Europe, greater mobility and funding for world class research infrastructures.

This represent a great opportunity for nurses and nursing research. Do not miss it!
